Tongues praying or speaking is evidence that a believer in Jesus has received His promised gift of Holy Spirit. It is evidence of eternal life. It is meant to edify the believer and it is a safe weapon given for spiritual warfare. More importantly, tongues praying or speaking is meant for a sign to the unbelievers. There is an evangelistic purpose for it. (Acts 2, 1 Cor. 14:22)
You and everyone you know is invited to come and watch or to join churches and Christians to pray in the Holy Spirit, for 3 hours. This event may be video-recorded and live streamed by participating churches, ministries and individuals, with a caption message to unbelievers, for example – “tongue-speaking is a sign of eternal life in those who trust in Jesus”. If you want to receive Holy Spirit, a promised gift to everyone who trusts in Jesus, come as well. Worship follows afterwards.
