God is the creator of the whole universe and all that’s in it. But when God made mankind, He made us in His own image and His likeness, Genesis 2. His relationship with Adam and Eve, the first man and woman demonstrates His purpose for humanity to worship Him and have eternal relationship with Him.
But sin came into humanity as a result of disobedience to God.Therefore we were eternally separated from this Holy God. The bible says that “For all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. For the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
