Selfless Worship Night – Next event: Sunday April 28, 2024 at 6pm.
The saints in heaven worship God selflessly without expecting Him to meet their needs, because they have everything they need. We on earth have needs for healing, deliverance, provision and blessings. And God cares about these needs and there are and will be times for them. But as the time draws near when all of us God’s children will transition to meet with them and the Lord Jesus, I believe we need to begin to develop a non-transactional mindset to worship God selflessly like the saints in heaven. I believe a heart that is deliberately emptied of these legitimate wants and needs before worship will be the first step in the ladder we climb to worship God in spirit and in truth. As we switch from what we want and need before worship, to what He wants and what He needs in worship, I believe the veil and the wall separating us earthly saints and the heavenly saints will begin to thin out for God’s glory to be revealed on earth.
At this monthly worship event based on Psalm 22:22, God is calling us all to a higher level of maturity in the Spirit when it comes to worship. Join me with worship singers to worship God. All are invited. Pastor, evangelist, teacher, prophet, apostle, remember how you so much desire to worship God as much as possible without limitations during the worship service but you are constrained with a mind loaded to deliver the sermon to God’s people and keep the service in order. Well, this may be your chance to come and freely worship God with us at a time you are not loaded with any responsibility.
