Canada Walk 4 Jesus is  a  solidarity match/parade/walk for Jesus by Christians of all denominations in Edmonton. On Sunday, July 9, 2017, at 2:00pm, believers of Jesus will walk together with signs and placards displaying individual testimonies, singing and celebrating Jesus, remembering His imminent return and inviting others to Him and His church as a place of solution. The parade itself will last for 40 minutes and for 2 kilometres. This event is also used to celebrate Canada’s 150 years of confederation.

Parade Route – We will gather in front of the Edmonton Federal Capital Building, 9820 108 St NW, Edmonton. We will walk north on 108 Street to 104 Avenue, and then turn back to the same gathering location in front of the Federal Capital Building

WHY WALK 4 JESUS?

  1. It is not just a walk 4 Jesus. It is a walk 4 Jesus by Christians of different denominations to demonstrate that we are more united under Christ Jesus despite our diverse denominations. God is using the event to answer the Lord’s prayer in John 17 that the body of Christ may be united. Unity is the prelude to revival and glory.
  2. Proclaiming what Jesus has done in individual lives in a crowd sends a message to the world that Jesus is alive and available for those who come to Him.
  3. It is a walk to which non believers of Jesus are invited to be blessed, healed from sicknesses and diseases and delivered from oppression.
  4. Jesus indicated in a vision heaven’s interest in the Walk 4 Jesus 2017
  5. Since the walk 4 Jesus fosters unity in the body of Christ, we can expect a move of God’s glory and revival to the church before, during and after the walk.
  6. As a participant or volunteer for the walk, you can expect to experience God in the unity walk: salvation, healing and deliverance.
  7. When in heaven God is showing a movie of this event, you will not only be glad to see yourself in it. But will also be glad to know that you helped make it happen as a volunteer.
