To order the beautiful maroon “Jesus is Lord” T-shirt, please send an email to admin@ruwemi.org, specifying your name and size requirement :(small, medium, large, extra large, extra extra large). T-shirt will be delivered to you at a cost of $20 at the event venue on June 22. How to Prepare

Invite your friends, announce in your church, bring your members. Also bring your placards, signs and flags, if you have them, with messages consistent with the guide in the link below. If you have them, bring your shofar, trumpet and other musical instruments you wish to play along. For yourself, bring a light jacket, water bottle, sun glasses, a hat, a mat, paper or plastic nylon to sit on the grass and perhaps snacks for yourself. Wear comfortable shoes (like snickers). Finally, bring your voice to worship the King of Kings publicly and proclaim Him as Lord and Savior. This is a big budget event costing more than $7,000. We appeal for charity to charity donations to RUWEMI Ministries from churches and ministries. Tax receipts will be issued for donations from individuals who provide their full names, mailing address, email and phone number. Cash will be accepted on the June 22 event day, e-transfer can be made to admin@ruwemi.org, cheque made payable to “RUWEMI Ministries” and options for online giving here. Remember, after the walk, we are not done as there will be prayers led by church leaders, worship and all the fun things in the presence of Jesus Christ.

Community Service:

After the walk event, participants are to go in groups of 2 to 5 organized by their church, to go to their neighbors offering to do any outdoor chores for the neighbor on behalf of Jesus. Participants can then share Jesus with their neighbors. After the day, participants are encouraged to go the summer events in Edmonton to share with people the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came in the flesh, shed His blood and died on the Cross of Calvary for the sin of the whole world, and who on the third, arose from the dead

Direction 

Gathering point is at Skyrattler Park on 113 Street, Saddleback Road (19 Avenue), NW Edmonton. If using the LRT train, get to the last station on the south : Century Park Station, which is on 23rd Avenue, 111 Street. Take any south-bound bus to 19 Avenue (Saddleback Road), 111 Street. Skyrattler Park is a two-blocks walk to the West on Saddleback Road.

Parking:

Parking available at Taylor University compound (the lot opposite Saddleback Road), located about 3 houses away west of Skyrattler Park. The City is temporarily imposing a no-parking ban on the immediate road by the park for the safe operation of this event. Lots of free street parking spots on the surrounding streets – east, west, north and south of Skyrattler Park.
