Jesus instructed we should not forsake the fellowship with one another. It is because our enemy, the devil, will do everything possible to make us turn from following Jesus and we are stronger against him when we are together. Also, the instruction is so that we can grow in our spiritual relationship with Jesus at the same time balance with our needs in this material world. It is also helpful to access Christian resources on TV and internet, where attending a church may be difficult or unsafe.
Believers should fellowship with a good church whose doctrine does not compromise the integrity of the word of God as written in the inspired Holy Scriptures. Such a good church has Jesus Christ at the builder at the center of what it does and regards the Holy Spirit as one who is representing Jesus in doing this. A home fellowship of believers is also good option
