Heritage of Jesus Outreach at the Edmonton Exhibition Lands and Borden Park.

Once again, our team will be going to the annual Edmonton Heritage Festival from August 3 to 5, for what we describe as the Heritage of Jesus gospel outreach. We want to encourage you to either join us or separately mobilize people from your church to also go and share Jesus with people at the festival. You can also get your church invitation flyers to invite them over to your church. With mounting restrictions and opposition consistent with the rapidly changing global landscape, this may be our last chance to reach people around us with the gospel. The big elephant here is the 480,000 people that attend the three-day festival.
Our mission for this year’s outreach is styled “Operation All Asia” based on Acts 19:10, in which Paul ensured that “all the Jews and the Greeks in the countries of Asia heard the word of the Lord”. So we will be guided by this ambitious principle to ensure everyone coming to that festival hears that “Jesus Christ died for their sin to give them eternal life”. The strategy will involve some teams stationed at the various entrances to the venue proclaiming the gospel while others will go inside as individual festival participants with a mission to sit down with people and discretely share this message of the Kingdom of God and Jesus Christ the way to it, with them. With your church’s involvement, we can reach everyone at the festival and a great number of them will come to the faith. Details are enclosed in the poster and on our website.
