Babylon conceals the Christian identity and instills fear, let alone allowing us to flourish in fulfilling our God-given purpose, which is to preach the gospel of the Kingdom and Jesus Christ the way to it. At the 10th Annual Walk 4 Jesus Edmonton, come, invite your friends, family and your church members to join other believers in publicly proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After the event, participants are encouraged and emboldened to make sharing the gospel a lifestyle.

Parking lot is by the gathering point. Street parking also available.
Parade Route:
From Coronation Park on 139 Street, 114 Avenue, go West to 115 Avenue, go South on 115 Avenue to 142 Street, go West on 142 Street to 118 Avenue, go East on 118 Avenue to 135 Street, go South on 135 Street to 117 Avenue, keep going on 117 Avenue past 135 Street to Woodcroft Avenue, make the first left on Woodcroft Avenue to 115 Avenue, go past 115 Avenue to 139 Street back to the gathering point on 114 Avenue.

Order Your T-Shirt
To request an order of the beautiful maroon “Jesus is Lord” T-shirt, please send an email to admin@ruwemi.org, specifying your name and size requirement :(small, medium, large, extra large, extra extra large). T-shirt will be delivered to you at the cost of $20 at the event venue on June 28. If you would like to arrange to pick up the shirt before June 28, please come to the planning meeting at Coronation Park, on June 20. View the t-shirt here: maroon.
How to Prepare
Invite your friends, announce in your church, bring your members. Also bring your placards, signs and flags, if you have them, with messages consistent with the guide in the link below. If you have them, bring your shofar, trumpet and other musical instruments you wish to play along. For yourself, bring a light jacket, water bottle, sun glasses, a hat, a mat, paper or plastic nylon to sit on the grass and perhaps snacks for yourself. Wear comfortable shoes (like snickers). Finally, bring your voice to worship the King of Kings publicly and proclaim Him as Lord and Savior. This is a big budget event and it costed more than $8,000 last year. We appeal for charity to charity donations to RUWEMI Ministries from churches and ministries. Tax receipts will be issued for donations from individuals who provide their full names, mailing address, email and phone number. Cash will be accepted on the June 28 event day, e-transfer can be made to admin@ruwemi.org, cheque made payable to “RUWEMI Ministries” and options for online giving here. Remember, after the walk, we are not done as there will be prayers led by church leaders, worship and all the fun things in the presence of Jesus Christ.

Community Service:
After the walk event, participants are encouraged to go in groups of 2 to 5 organized by their church, to go to their neighbors offering to do any outdoor chores for the neighbor on behalf of Jesus. Participants can then share Jesus with their neighbors. After the day, participants are encouraged to go the summer events in Edmonton to share with people the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came in the flesh, shed His blood and died on the Cross of Calvary for the sin of the whole world, and who on the third day, arose from the dead.
